Hetero Must Face Investigation in Jagan’s Case: Supreme Court

YS-Jagan-Supreme-CourtHetero group of companies has faced a setback in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court dismissed the petition filed by hetero organizations seeking to quash the case registered by the CBI.

The CBI Court and the Telangana High Court have already rejected the quash petition of Hetero Group in this case. However, the Hetero group of companies approached the Supreme Court challenging the decision of the High Court.

The bench of Justice Joseph and Justice Hrishikesh Roy took up the hearing on the petition today. Justice Joseph commented on the occasion that the case against the Hetero group of companies is not dismissible.

Hetero Group bought shares at a premium of Rs.350 without ‘A1’ Jagan even starting the company. After making investments, 80 acres were allotted to Hetero by the then Government.

The bench opined that these are truths that can not be hidden even if we try to.

The Supreme Court refused to buy the company’s argument – “It is not right to include the entire Hetero group in the FIR. The Supreme Court did not consider the arguments of Hetero’s counsel that the case should be filed against the company’s staff but not against the company”.

The bench refused to dismiss the case stating that the CBI had duly filed the charge sheet.
